EWEB was kind enough to send me an email – URGENT: Continuous Water Flow Detected at Your Meter. That kind of sent me into a panic as you know how big those water bills are already. I then began to check if I could hear water running anywhere in the house, and then outside the house, and I found I could hear it in the weirdest place which was far from where all the water lines are.
Knowing that I needed a plumber, I looked for help and read reviews on Facebook Resource Groups and went with a gut feeling and called Christian’s Plumbing. I lucked out as he was just finishing something where he was and knew that it was important to get that fixed right away. So, in between things, he came here to help.
It was weird to him too that could only hear it in the one area and not see anything leaking. But, he tackled things like a puzzle, and after doing quick checks with camera lines, crawled under the house to see what the heck was going on.
It turns out that a water pipe that went to nowhere that had been capped off years ago had cracked, but it was hiding underneath the black underlayment that is under the house. He cut it back, recapped and made sure everything else was fine too. This place is weird like that, and probably because they kept adding on and adding on to the house over the years. Anyways, problem solved methodically and with care.

I’d highly recommend Christian as I could tell he cared, that he made sure the work was done timely, and that his craftsmanship is exceptional. Plus, he’s locally owned and operated.
So… if you ever need plumbing help, big or small, I’d suggest calling him first.
