Fifth Street Public Market – Eat, Shop, Do!

One of the most popular places to go in Eugene is the Fifth Street Public Market!

It’s a local favorite and a must-visit destination. The public market is made up of two floors with a courtyard, and fountain. There are many amenities shoppers can find at the public market, and there really is a little bit of something for everyone here.

They have all sorts of Oregon and Eugene crafted items found in multiple stores. It’s a great place to just wander around at a leisurely pace to look for unique things, and for souvenirs and gifts. It’s a collection of interesting, unique, colorful shops that make up a neat, multi-story open-air cooperative. 

Fifth Street Public Market is in the heart of Eugene’s Historic district with jazz bars, restaurants, and nightlife surrounding it. It is known as the place for great food, coffee, and entertainment. A number of international food cafes and other restaurants support the area. There is no other place in Eugene that has this wide variety of exotic food.

A mix of retail stores, professional offices, restaurants and eateries, and now… The Inn at the 5th which offers elegant accommodations. This modern boutique hotel includes a relaxing day spa and fine dining. It has been named a Top 25 Hotel in the nation 3 years running on TripAdvisor.

The large number of shops, restaurants, and art galleries mix together for the perfect place for the entire family. Stroll through the courtyard, and listen to the sounds of the fountain. There are so many things to check out and do. Worth every second you can take to explore and enjoy shopping, as well as the vast variety of different types of food, local artists, and music.

Market hours are 10m to 7 pm Monday through Saturday, and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm. The International Cafes are open from 8:30 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday and 9 am to 6 pm on Sunday.
