KEANU REEVES CONFIRMS THE MATRIX 4 ISN’T A PREQUEL
When rumblings first started about a fourth installment in The Matrix franchise, the word going around was that the movie was set to be a prequel focusing on a younger version of Morpheus, with Michael B. Jordan heavily linked to the role. That talk immediately ended when it was announced that Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss would be back.
… Now, thanks to Reeves, we know for sure The Matrix for isn’t a prequel. In an interview the actor said, “No, no. No going in the past. It’s another version, a call to wake up and it has some great action. All will be revealed.”
JIM CARREY WILL PLAY JOE BIDEN ON SNL THIS FALL
Saturday Night Live has announced that Jim Carrey will play Joe Biden this fall. In addition, Maya Rudolph will return as Kamala Harris, while Alec Baldwin will continue to portray Donald Trump.
PRODUCTION HAS OFFICIALLY RESTARTED ON THE BATMAN
Following a report earlier this week that The Batman was resuming production after a COVID-19-triggered shutdown, Warner Bros. has officially confirmed it. Although it’s not yet known whether Robert Pattinson is also on set after testing positive for the coronavirus earlier this month, it does seem that things are rolling again on the much-anticipated picture.
… The Batman will focus on Bruce Wayne’s early days as a crime fighter in Gotham City, with the Riddler understood to be the main villain.

SPACE TRAVEL REALITY SHOW TO AWARD TO THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION
The U.S.-based production company Space Hero Inc. has secured a seat on a 2023 SpaceX Dragon spacecraft mission to the International Space Station, and plans to give the seat away to the winner of a reality show called Space Hero. The series will launch a global search for everyday people from any background who share a deep love for space exploration. The show will then chronicle the winner’s takeoff; their stay at the ISS for 10 days alongside professional astronauts; and end with their return to Earth.
CAROLE BASKIN AND HUSBAND TO STAR IN A REALITY SHOW EXPOSING ANIMAL ABUSERS
Carole Baskin, the star of Tiger King and Dancing with the Stars, and her husband Howard Baskin are working with a TV production company on a reality show where the couple, alongside others, spotlight the histories, lawsuits and animal rights violations associated with various organizations. Sounds… exciting?
LORI LOUGHLIN’S PRISON OFFERS YOGA, PILATES AND MUSIC LESSONS
The his-and-hers California federal prisons where a judge has agreed to send Lori Loughlin and her husband to serve their upcoming sentences in the college admissions scandal are hardly Alcatraz. Both are low-security prison within two hours of their $9.5 million mansion. If approved by the federal Bureau of Prisons, Loughlin’s new gated community will be the Satellite Camp of the Federal Correctional Institution in Victorville. The camp offers yoga, pilates and origami, as well as music lessons, including classes in saxophone, accordion, or ukulele. Cartoon drawing, crochet, leather craft and ceramics are also on offer.
… During her stay, Loughlin could also learn skills for a new career if her acting career is never revived — including how to drive a forklift, repair bicycles or be a dental assistant.

Ashley Tisdale is pregnant. The High School Musical alum is expecting her first child with husband Christopher French. The news comes just days after the couple celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary.
SHE-HULK ACTRESS ANNOUNCED
Marvel Studios has found its star to take over the title role in its She-Hulk series. Sources says that Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany is the choice to play the title character in Marvel’s She-Hulk series for Disney+. The last major character to be co-created by Stan Lee, She-Hulk is Jennifer Walters, an attorney and cousin of Bruce Banner, aka The Hulk. An emergency blood transfusion from her cousin gives Walters her powers, but unlike Banner/Hulk, She-Hulk was able to keep her intelligence and personality when she Hulked out.
FIRST TRAILER FOR AMERICAN MURDER: THE FAMILY NEXT DOOR
Netflix has unveiled a trailer for an intense true-crime documentary film titled American Murder: The Family Next Door, a feature film debuting this month. Shanann Watts and her two young daughters went missing in Frederick, Colorado. As details of their deaths made headlines worldwide, it became clear that Shanann’s husband, Chris Watts, wasn’t the man he appeared to be. It starts streaming September 30. • VIDEO
LORRAINE BRACCO IS GOING TO RENOVATE A HOME IN SICILY FOR HGTV SERIES
Lorraine Bracco is getting into the home-renovation business — and the home-renovation television business — on HGTV’s My Big Italian Adventure. In the upcoming series, the Sopranos actress will remodel a 200-year-old, 1,075-square-foot home that she purchased in Sicily for exactly one euro. Her reno budget will be many, many, many multiples of that. Bracco will be joined in the tiny hilltop town of Sambuca di Sicilia by an architect, a contractor, and a translator.
KRISTEN BELL SAID DAUGHTERS DRANK NONALCOHOLIC BEER DURING ZOOM CLASS
Like many moms, Kristen Bell has had her fair share of funny moments while spending more time at home. She shared one during the first episode of Chef Carla Hall’s new podcast, Say Yes! when she revealed that her kids are big fans of the non-alcoholic beer O’Doul’s and recently were seen sipping on some during a zoom class. The actress said that her daughters Delta and Lincoln have an attachment to the drink because of their dad Dax Shepard, who has been sober for about 15 years. She said the girls are even known to order it when the family goes out to eat.
… Bell explained: “When we first had our child and my husband would put her in the Babybjörn and we’d walk around the neighborhood, he’d pop a nonalcoholic beer in his hand and the baby would paw at it and put the rim in her mouth. It’s a sentimental thing for my girls, right? It makes them feel close to their dad.”
